William Morris Quilted Throw, Blue Willow Boughs. REDUCED SALE
This William Morris quilted throw features the iconic Willow Boughs pattern, first produced in 1887. The curving willow branches, entwining stems, and delicate leaves, was a personal favourite theme that Morris used in several of his designs.
With cotton fabric on the reverse, and the inner polyester wadding adds warmth and weight.
The measurements are approximately 117cm x 154cm (46"x60").
For scale, this throw is photographed on a two seater sofa.
SALE. This quilt was made by an apprentice and the quilting lines tend to 'wander'. This is noticeable on the checked backing, but not so much on the front of the quilt due to the pattern. Images show the wandering quilting lines.
Washable, with laundry care label.
